Coach “Lalo” graduated from J. W. Nixon High School and began his coaching career in 2003. He has been a high school volleyball, basketball, and track and field assistant coach for more than 15 years altogether and was the head volleyball coach at United South High School for 5 years. Coach Lalo is currently the Laredo Juniors club director for 11s-12s and has coached club volleyball for 7 years. In 2018, he coached an 11’s team that qualified to the Girls Junior National Championships.

He enjoys listening and dancing to salsa music.
